Scenes

The stage has the scripts in common with the sprites and have to tell both what they have to do. You initialize sprites in a scene by telling them what to do. Many other projects would use scene changes like games. Other kids in my class did what I did and switched backdrops after 3 seconds each.

Penguin Joke Project

Broadcast is very fun and it was a very cool thing on Scratch. I really enjoyed it and it was easy. You would use timing in a project when you need to time when a sprite is going to say something and when you need the speech bubble to appear. You would use broadcasting when you want two or more characters to have a conversation back and forth with each other.

In make a block you can simply create a block using a single or several other blocks in one block. You might use make a block when you have a long script and want to shorten it you can just create blocks.

10 Block Challenge Reflection

This activity helps me learn Scratch because it was able to give me any blocks and I was able to create something with them. The ten blocks restraints my ideas because I don't have a lot of the blocks I would typically use and I am stuck with the few that I was given and with that I was able to still create a video.

Scratch Reflection

This was very fun to use. What was surprising to me was how easy it was. It made it so much easier and made so much more sense as I was lead step by step. I like having more structure as a learner when I don't understand something as well. I like having more freedom as a learner when I do understand something. I feel most creative when I know how to use a site very well.
